How we count.
No secret feed. Public PDFs, a human on unsure names, and the delay written on the card.
Official House source
We collect House PTRs from the Clerk's official disclosure site and link back to each PDF. Senate eFD collection is unavailable while its use restrictions are reviewed. We do not buy a third-party trade tape for the core record.
Unsure names stay off the feed
If we are not at least 85% sure of the ticker, the row waits on Please check. It does not alert. It does not show in the feed until a person publishes it.
The delay is real
US law often allows about 45 days between the trade and the public filing. We show that lag. We do not pretend this is a hotline.
Dollars as filed
Amounts stay in US dollars, as on the form. We do not invent a euro line without naming the rate and the day.
Not a score
“If you followed the filings” is a count of buy vs sell forms, not a win rate. Forms rarely say how many shares. We do not invent an S&P score without prices.
